Salary: $21.36 - $27.26 per hour, plus excellent benefits.
Position:
Under general supervision, assists in overseeing and coordinating community oriented programs and activities within assigned department; assists in the implementation of program goals and objectives; and performs a variety of administrative, professional, and technical tasks in support of assigned area of responsibility.
There are two positions available. Schedule may consist of a traditional work week (5/40), a 9/80 schedule, or a 4/10 schedule. Schedule will also include some weekend work.
The Ideal Candidate:
Will have the ability to perform arduous tasks in the field while painting, climbing in and around obstacles, able to work in storm drain channels and work well while on a ladder.
Must be comfortable working with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and be able to respond by email to complaints.
Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
Will be a highly motivated employee that works well alone.
Will be very versatile and able to perform a multitude of tasks other than graffiti and sign abatement. Skills in all areas of construction is highly desirable
Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education: Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade supplemented by college level course work in public administration or a related field.
Experience: One year of increasingly responsible community oriented program experience.
License or Certificate: Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license.
