Under general direction of the Chief Deputy Director of GSA Facilities, the Facility Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of Facility Project Specialists performing project oversight of large, complex outsourced construction projects, contract administration and oversight of contractor performance for compliance with established scope of work including all necessary permits and drawings.
This position also directly supervises project and furniture staff including overall unit performance goals and employee performance reports, as well as budget preparation and monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and monitoring budgets, developing and contributing to strategic plans, and training for and/or participating in process improvement events using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
