Utility Worker I/II
The City of Fairfield is hiring for this position. This recruitment is open to the first 150 qualified applicants, or will close on April 4, 2022 at 5:00 pm; whichever occurs first.
This position can be hired at the entry level (I) or journey level (II) and performs a variety of semiskilled and skilled streets or parks/landscape construction and maintenance work.
Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade is required.
Six (6) months experience in heavy manual work is required.
Possession of, or ability to obtain a California Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record are conditions of initial and continued employment.
This position is subject to D.O.T. drug testing regulations.
