THE POSITION:
The Utility and Maintenance Technician I & II are the first two levels of a four level Utility and Maintenance Technician series. Incumbents are responsible for performing a wide variety of heavy manual, semi-skill and skilled tasks in the construction, installation, operation, repair and maintenance of the city's right-of-way and storm drain infrastructure. The position will be staffed at a level I or level II depending upon the selected applicant's qualifications and the needs of the department.
