As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our city's infrastructure. Under direction, you will perform a wide variety of skilled tasks related to the construction, repair, maintenance, and servicing of City sewer and storm drain collection systems, streets, parks, trees, landscaping, park facilities, equipment, and the Household Hazardous Waste Program. In this role, you will lead and supervise a crew, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REPORTING SCHEDULE: 12 months per year; 10 hours per day; 4 days per week. Additional hours/days may be required depending on the circumstances. PRE-EMPLOYMENT PROCESS: Applicants must successfully pass a background check and a job-related physical exam, including a drug test, prior to employment. SALARY: Listed salary amounts indicate the first and last steps of the range for the position. EXAM TYPE: Open Competitive. PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 12 months.
