The Project Manager is a management level class within the City which reviews and manages the design development and construction of public works capital improvements, City infrastructure improvements, and public facility projects; oversees the coordination of these projects with various City departments and the community; provides progress reports and works closely with consultants and engineering design teams to meet City, State and Federal standards.

Projects: Capital Improvements

  • Annual CDBG Street Improvements

  • Utility installations

Wastewater Treatment Plant

  • Includes regional lift station, force mains, and gravity sewers

Silverwood

  • Future construction on 700,000 square feet of commercial retail space

Ideal Qualities: Self motivated team player dedicated to supporting a team-oriented environment. Excellent organization skills with attention to detail. Procurement and Construction experience is a plus. Knowledge of contract administration/design build.

Qualifications: 2 years of technical, complex and professional construction and/or development experience. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, planning real estate development, construction, engineering, or a closely related field.
