GENERAL PURPOSE Under general direction, plans, organizes, manages and evaluates the programs, operations and staff of the Maintenance and Operations Division, including building maintenance and minor construction, fleet maintenance, street and right-of-way maintenance, street sweeping, weed/graffiti/illegal dumping abatement, street tree maintenance, storm drain maintenance, and emergency response functions and contract administration for contractors and contract maintenance service providers; and performs related duties as assigned.
